Endgame
Baptized in a firefight
Hot blood running cold as ice
44 minutes of target practice
And all hell's breaking loose
Outgunned,
Watching "The Force" come to a firefight,
With a pocket knife
Getting schooled until the shot Achilles' Heel
And brought down the Beast...
am back people, this time, with megadeth....
the lyrics u see above is from a song called 44minutes by megadeth from their latest album, Endgame...i was going through it and it simply was awesome....in fact it deserves more (apart from Bodies, that is...that song wasn't hata good....)

Endgame is the twelfth studio album by American heavy metal band Megadeth. Released on September 9, 2009, it is the first album featuring guitarist Chris Broderick following Glen Drover's departure in 2008. It is also the band's last studio album with James LoMenzo.
The album debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200. Singles were made for "Head Crusher" and "44 Minutes".
According to the National Album Positioning Charts, Endgame has sold 410,507 units worldwide. The album continues to sell nearly 4,000 copies weekly.
Background
The first preview of any song off Endgame was a six-minute video featuring the band's English producer Andy Sneap describing the process of mixing the new Megadeth track "Head Crusher" at his studio in Derbyshire, England. In the video, Sneap says, "It's certainly old-school Megadeth — that's what I like." Endgame was recorded at the band's own personal studio, aptly named Vic's Garage, in San Marcos, California USA .
Dave Mustaine, Megadeth's frontman and co-lead guitarist, has said, "It is fast, it is heavy, there is singing, yelling, speaking, and guest voices (maybe not singing — more like in "Captive Honour"), the soloing is insane. We have some great song concepts, like 'The Right To Go Insane' is a song about having been wiped out, like so many Americans, from the recession and potential depression years of 2000, or 'Bite the Hand', which is a song about the greed of the fiduciary leaders of the financial world and how they just didn't care about the responsibility they had to the public.
There are also songs like '1,320', a song about nitro fuel funny cars. He said the songs "How The Story Ends" and "This Day We Fight!" were both inspired by "warrior creed from the great Sun Tzu with the use of drums and flags in ancient war, and an impassioned plea from Aragorn to his loyal fighters in Lord of the Rings trilogy, respectively." He adds "I also have some bizarre songs, like 'Head Crusher', which is about the medieval torture device, and "Endgame", the title track, which is about a bill that ex-President George W. Bush signed into law that gave him the power to put American citizens in detention centers here in the United States, and a favorite lyric of mine on this record about the North Hollywood bank robbery ["44 minutes"] of 1997." [2]
On the September 10th edition of the Alex Jones Show, Jones suggested that the title and cover of Endgame was inspired by the movie Endgame written and directed also by Jones. Jones stated that he had sent Mustaine a copy of the movie after he had appeared on the radio program in 2008.[3] It was later confirmed by Dave Mustaine on the Alex Jones show that the album name was inspired by his documentary Endgame.[4]"

that's what wikipedia says and i totally agree with them...only i don't agree with mustaine...isn't he going through guitarists a bit too fast??? i mena, he's thrown out Glen Drover...and Drover was just too good when megadeth was live in Buenos Aires...and he's signed Chris Boderick....let's give Boderick all the best....

Death Metal
hey people, am back...this time, with a little intro on Metal's perhaps the greatest sub-genre...DEATH METAL...
a lot of people have this misconception that Death metal is more noise than music...i DISAGREE and i truly do so...because death metal has got something which, no other genre has...it has Children of Bodom playing it...also, Lamb of God plays it....what else can be reason enough to love it???
that was a metal-head's point of view....actually, death metal is characterised by the extensive use of distortion, the double-bass, and of course, large amounts of growling and screeching...well, one good thing bout death metal is the awesome guitar riffs or even the guitar rhythm and the cemetery-type keyboards...it's just too good...why don't you try it out and see for yourselves??? death metal has got this intoxicating effect on the listener and makes him immune to emotions as long as he's into the music....so i'd suggest this every-time you're feeling down or too much up, if you get my drift...i mean, come on, it's way better than pop...head banging is another way of enjoying this music. just try it once, you'll love it...wanna try??? paste the link given below in your address bar and download the song...then, listen to it...you'll find it hard to keep your feet from tapping and your head from banging.....
http://beemp3.com/download.php?file=6541766&song=
more later....still better, am giving you some death metal bands, try their songs....use beemp3.com and you'll see why we, the metal-heads prefer death-metal......
1. Lamb of God
2. Children of Bodom
3. Slayer
4. Cradle of Filth
5. Arch Enemy
try them...you'll find the rest yourselves...
